A Tactical Study on Dilating Korean Health Professionals¡¯ Influence on Society
Ahn Jong-Ju

Abstract
Due to development and comprehensive acceptance of the internet in the world, ever much speedier transportation and communication, and the globalization on going, virtually all including information, diseases, threats, etc. have been on the prompt way to expansion. Ushering in the days of ¡¯one family on the Globe¡¯, health professionals can no longer keep themselves in laboratories, colleges and countries. Accordingly, the professionals working on health are supposed to concentrate on concerns relevant to the globalization and to share the outcome with the general public, the role of health professionals should be to get the public to have exact knowledge on goings-on in health issues; for that, to communicate with the public in two ways; and to have the authorities furnish right policies on time The routes of health professionals¡¯ participating in society could be to engage in politics and administrations as politician, public officers and officers at public institutes, or individual activities like scholarly work, and participate in group through the activities of KPHA. The expansion of health professionals¡¯ influence on society would, however, have some limit to a certain extent as long as they contribute in person to politics and government. The best way to maximization of health professionals¡¯ influence on society is that we renovate KPHA to make it the most popular organization of professionals in Korea. On behalf of that, by means of establishment of the national campaign center or institute for safe food and health forum etc. as well as the campaign for temperance in drinking, we can fully enlarge the arena of our activities and renew the organization to level our vision up or down to the general public.
